| Take Notice is a project that has been lead by the Huron County Health Unit.
Take Notice aims to support the reduction of school violence. With a focus on “rural youth” and bullying.
We intend to provide materials for secondary schools to initiate peer led education to increase positive behaviour. We will be covering a broad range of issues including the basics on bullying, victimization, and the role of the “bystander”.
The focus of the intervention is to include youth and teach appropriate ways to handle situations.
To effectively address the problem we believe that change is required at all levels including peers, school, parents, community and society.
